|3 Tbsp||Softened Butter, divided|
|1 tsp||Garlic Spread, for bread|
|4 slices||Pumpernickel Bread|
|2× 23||Grams Slices Apple Wood Bacon|
|2 slices||Cheddar Cheese|
|2 slices||Chipotle Jack Cheese|
|8 slices||Mushroom, canned or fresh|
|¼ cup||Alfalfa Sprouts|
In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of butter with the garlic spread, stirring to blend thoroughly. Evenly spread butter mixture onto one side of each slice of bread. Next, layer bread with one slice bacon, cheeses, 4 mushroom slices and 2 tablespoons alfalfa sprouts. Top with 2nd slice of bread, then press gently and brush outsides of sandwiches with remaining butter. Grill on a pancake grill or in a frying pan, on medium heat until toasted. Then turn over and cook until other side is toasted. Serve hot.
A good change from ordinary grilled cheese.
