
Excellent vegetarian burgers made of beans that are topped with sour cream seasoned with oregano and onion.
While beans are draining in a colander, combine sour cream in a small bowl with onions and oregano. Chill until serving time. In a medium bowl, mash beans with a fork. Add bread crumbs, garlic powder, pepper or hot sauce and egg. Mix well. Shape mixture into 4 patties. Coat a skillet with non-stick cooking spray and fry patties 5 minutes per side. Serve with a dollop of sour cream sauce on whole wheat bun.
